Hello everyone, and welcome back to another episode of luminous. Yes, we are back. Me, Jacob, Boris and also my friend Holly next to me. We are all excited for another episode with a quick reminder that you can listen to us, of course on Spotify as well as Apple Music and newly on our brand new YouTube channel, The Looming Cars, where not only you can listen to us, you can also see us as Holly is demonstrating with her leaves.
00:00:32:00 - 00:00:53:21
Unknown
And with that, I think that brings us brilliantly into, first of all, Holly. Hello. Hello, how are you today? I am great, and more importantly, Holly, what are we going to talk about today? Well, you can see I've been out leaf picking this morning. Today we're talking about what to shoot in fall. And we're trying to pick some categories that are a little bit out of the ordinary.
00:00:53:23 - 00:01:14:07
Unknown
Last year we did a similar podcast, so we're just making sure we're not duplicating those. So you can always go back and listen to that one. But we're trying to just pick topics that are a little different. And I already know what Jacob's five are, but he doesn't know what my five are. I just wanted to make sure his weren't duplicating mine and they aren't, so it should be fun.
00:01:14:07 - 00:01:34:06
Unknown
So we're going to give you ten ideas and maybe a few bonus ones. So that's our topic. Yeah, absolutely. Super exciting. And I'm also wondering where did you find these leaves. They are huge right. Right outside my in my driveway. Yeah. For those who only listening, Holly is holding a leaf which is bigger than her face. That is super cool.
00:01:34:07 - 00:01:55:05
Unknown
I didn't have a leaf. I actually only have a mushroom blush. Which, by the way, is a little message to my mom. Thank you ma'am. So, Holly. Okay, we know what we're going to be doing, but I thought, you know, before we do that, I know that you have this great Facebook group about Luminar and photography, and I really wanted you to invite people to come over and maybe tell us more about it.
00:01:55:05 - 00:02:16:21
Unknown
All right. Great. Well thank you. About a month or so ago, I started my own Facebook group called I Love Luminar because as you know, I love Luminar. And I just I did it because I felt like it could be a concentrated group of people who really, really love to use software. So I have about 67 members so far.
00:02:16:22 - 00:02:38:07
Unknown
And of course, you're one of them. So just look for I love Luminar. It has a little cartoon of me on the background. Should be easy to find. And then you just click, you know, ask to join. There's three security questions you have to answer before I let you in and just take a look. I ordered I have a bracelet that says I love Luminar and I got this ring that says I love Luminar.
00:02:38:09 - 00:02:59:14
Unknown
So that's my latest merch that I got. So anyway. Awesome. Be great to have you be part of the community if you'd like to join in. So great! Well done! Well, we will definitely put the link for this group in the description of the podcast on YouTube, as well as Spotify and Apple Music, and we'll continue talking about it, because I think it's a great idea and I love being in your group.
00:02:59:14 - 00:03:24:20
Unknown
So well done, Holly. Thank you. All right, my friends, it's time to move on to our topic. So Holly mentioned ten subjects to photograph this fall or autumn. And as she mentioned, we try to be a little bit out of the box. We have gone through our usual hot chocolate and marshmallows and falling leaves last year. So yes, you can actually read listen the podcast episode again by following the link in the description.
00:03:24:20 - 00:03:44:03
Unknown
But today we're talking about ten unusual things and I'm going to start with my first. Are you ready, Holly? Yes I'm ready. All right. My first one still follow the leaves because of course it's fall and autumn's. You're going to be using them, but actually it's a little twist on it because we're going to be photographing leaves frozen inside ice.
00:03:44:05 - 00:04:03:02
Unknown
So this is just a little turnaround. Honestly. It can be really, really beautiful. What you're looking for are just leaves trapped in ice. Now it can be little pond or it can be just a little, you know, body, you know, a little bit of water on a street and yeah, maybe even on a side of the river. Sometimes you get these banks all frozen with the leaves in them.
00:04:03:04 - 00:04:22:06
Unknown
It can be quite wide shot or it can be detailed with little crystal of ice. It can be really, really creative and it can be great combination of the colors as well as the texture and light. Yeah, I think it can be really cool. And advantage of this is that you can photograph it pretty much with anything. Even mobile phone is fun.
00:04:22:07 - 00:04:36:21
Unknown
You know, if you sort of wake up early in the morning, go for a quick walk and you see some nice leaves, you can photograph them with your phone, or you can be really elaborate and bring your macro lens with you and just capture all the beautiful details. Quick suggestion on how to do that. What would you do?
00:04:36:21 - 00:05:04:23
Unknown
Well, you would keep an eye on the weather, of course, because what you're looking for is really cold night. Then ideally you would wake up a little bit early and go hunting for this ice in the morning, especially if you're living in an area which is not completely frozen, maybe the entire winter or a late autumn. Yeah. Keep an eye on whether anytime you see that temperatures going around the zero or minus, which I don't know what would be in fire, but I'm sure Holly will tell us in a moment and in the morning.
00:05:04:23 - 00:05:30:18
Unknown
Just go for a walk. You know, half an hour around. I'm sure you're going to find something nice, even if it's not leafs frozen in ice. Sometimes you get this frost leafs, which can be really beautiful and it can be really creative. Way on capturing something this autumn. What's the temperature environment for frozen water 30. I hope I get this right 32 degrees is frozen or below 30 below 32 below 32 degrees.
00:05:30:19 - 00:05:52:14
Unknown
I just wrote it down just to make sure for next time. What do you think about this idea? I think it's a great idea. I also have another idea too though. If if you can't get down to the 32 degrees temperature, you could you could crush up some leaves and freeze them yourself. Put them in water like in a in a baking tray or something, and freeze a whole bunch of leaves.
00:05:52:15 - 00:06:11:09
Unknown
I've seen people shoot like that too. That's cool, that's cool. That's what it really cool. Brilliant. All right, well, now you knew what I'm going to be talking about, but I have no clue what you're going to have. So your first. What do you have? Well, it should come as no surprise that based on these, that it'll be focused on leaves for me today.
00:06:11:09 - 00:06:44:22
Unknown
But different things that we can do with leaves. And I did get a lot of ideas from Pinterest. So the first one is cutting out a shape and shooting. So shoot through this. So maybe for portraits or whatever your subject is, you know, you could now it will require you to hold it with one hand. So this would be the one situation where we're not going to get on your case for not supporting your camera properly with two hands, or maybe you'd have your camera on a tripod, but so I just like you can see my magic marker.
00:06:45:01 - 00:07:07:00
Unknown
You want to do a better job than that? I just cut out a shape with an exact knife, but basically just shooting a way of shooting through so you have your shape and like your, your portrait, your person back in the background in the woods or whatever, just just little fun creative idea. And then I've seen ones where, like, you know, you could you could have them, like, hold it up to their face, you know, whatever.
00:07:07:02 - 00:07:30:14
Unknown
Then I've seen pictures where you can use the leaves as clothing for your the person in your portrait, so you can hang it in such a way that it looks like the person's wearing a skirt, or so you have to find like the distance of where they need to be, right? To kind of superimpose it on them. I've seen it where you can make it look like wings.
00:07:30:17 - 00:07:58:01
Unknown
So if you have your your subject there back facing the camera, then you can, you can like hold the leaves like, like this or like it would be more like this to make it look like there's wings on them. So just fun things like that then. And I know mine are like a 3 in 1. So all my topics here, then I've seen something where you could like you roll the leaf like this, like curve it okay.
00:07:58:03 - 00:08:19:06
Unknown
And shoot and shoot through it so it like that and shoot through. So you see the whole inside of the leaf down, you know, down to your subject. Right? Right. Yeah. So that was awesome. Yeah. So that's my first one. And yeah, like I said there's like three, three ideas in one. So wow. Love it, love it. Like with the leaf.
00:08:19:06 - 00:08:39:20
Unknown
It doesn't necessarily just have to be person right. It could be also your like pet or maybe a landscape or nice cute little cottage. Yeah there's lots of different subjects you could try. Awesome. Love that. All right okay. Well we have a lot to look forward to. I second, let's do it. All right. So my second idea is coming from home.
00:08:39:22 - 00:08:58:11
Unknown
Home is Czech Republic. That's where I grown up until I was about 17 when I left. And I spent a lot of time with my grandma who lived on a cute little village, and they were like old houses and old windows and all of that. My second idea is based on a memory looking out of the window from my grandmother's cottage.
00:08:58:11 - 00:09:15:05
Unknown
Basically all these old windows, they get lots of condensation on them. Basically looking through the window. The window is all cracked and has a lot of texture, and there is a condensation and dropped. And behind you see the actual autumn landscape. You know, sometimes it's apple trees or it's just more houses, or maybe it's a landscape and field behind.
00:09:15:05 - 00:09:38:15
Unknown
And honestly, it brings a lot of memories. And I also think that it's a great subject, maybe unusual subject. Now, of course, that not everybody has access to a village in Czech Republic, but you can just go around the city sometimes even like a cafe, you know, with all the windows or with a little bit of condensation on it, and maybe view on a street with people dressed up in autumn clothing or trees or.
00:09:38:16 - 00:10:06:20
Unknown
Yeah, just anything like that. So my second idea is condensation on old windows, and it's a combination again, of maybe the sort of mist or condensation on a glass and the landscape behind what you're going to need for that. Well, any camera will do again, mobile phone will do two, but maybe this one is just a little bit more technical, advanced in a way that you want to sort of mix the different focus points, you know, because you're going to be on the window and you will want the details there, but you will also want a little bit of details outside or maybe not.
00:10:06:23 - 00:10:26:06
Unknown
Depends how dominant it is. You know, sometimes it would be maybe good to sort of focus on the outside and have the window almost blurry or the other way around. So for this digital camera is a little bit easier. I know some of the new phones can sort of do this, focusing on wherever you're going to tap on a window, but I think the cameras still do it better.
00:10:26:12 - 00:10:49:00
Unknown
I already mentioned that obviously cottage in the countryside is a great place to try that, but cafes or even greenhouses sometimes the old parks have a greenhouse where you can try this as well. Oh yeah, just try from your window in the morning. You know, sometimes I stand there because my first coffee is usually just kind of standing in a kitchen looking outside, you know, so you get the condensation from there and you can just snap a picture from there.
00:10:49:00 - 00:11:03:08
Unknown
So super simple, very creative and very emotional, which generally creates image that people really appreciate. Yeah, sounds like a quaint idea. And I guess worst case scenario, just spray your window with water. You're really desperate.
00:11:03:14 - 00:11:08:02
Unknown
That's a great idea to or just blow on it, I guess maybe, I don't know,
00:11:08:04 - 00:11:10:20
Unknown
blown out, create the heart and photograph through it.
00:11:10:22 - 00:11:35:09
Unknown
It would be combination of the two. All right, Holly, your second. All right. My next one. Okay. Again with leaves. Get out that rake and rake a words into the ground. So like maybe or shapes a heart rake. Leaves into the shape of a heart rake. The words I love Luminar I. That's what my little cartoon is on the cover page of the group.
00:11:35:11 - 00:11:57:11
Unknown
You know, a smiley face, anything. And then either get on a step ladder to shoot down, you'd want to use a wide angle lens, shoot down to, to photograph it or maybe even, you know, go up to your second story of your house, whether out the window or on your debt. If you have a deck upstairs shoot down to just to like whatever thing that you created in in the grass.
00:11:57:11 - 00:12:17:16
Unknown
So that's that's my second idea. That's a great idea. So it's almost like painting in a sand, but you basically creating creating it with the leaves. Right? Right. Or how people write words in the sand or make shapes in the sand, you know, that's the same idea just for fall. Oh, definitely. And there is a little park nearby where all the trees are same.
00:12:17:17 - 00:12:36:14
Unknown
You know, they have this kind of orange brown colors. And in the middle of it is one tree only, which has a bright red leaves. So I can now already thinking that you could sort of just pick these red leaves and create the sign even amongst the rest of the leaves, because it would really stand out. So that is brilliant idea.
00:12:36:16 - 00:12:57:15
Unknown
And I'll have you know, I came up with that one all by myself. I didn't have to I didn't find that on Pinterest. That wasn't from Pinterest. But this Pinterest is good for that, right? It has a good ideas there. Yes. Yeah. If anybody haven't tried before, it's not necessarily just for trends or maybe fashion. You can find lots of inspiration for photography too.
00:12:57:16 - 00:13:32:10
Unknown
So good point. All right. Before we go into the break, it's time for my third one. And this is the one I absolutely trying this year because I think it could be really, really cool. The idea is car headlights through autumn fall. So once the nights get colder and you still little warmer during the day, this is a great opportunity and great sort of, ideal conditions for folks at night because obviously, you know, the ground is still warm and once the cold starts to come, you know, it brings the water out.
00:13:32:11 - 00:13:49:07
Unknown
Of course, you can photograph it in the morning, but in the evening it's just a little bit easier. So once the time moves, which I think is going to happen soon, if it hasn't happened yet, maybe soon. Once all of that happens, when the nights get a little bit longer, maybe you will be able to go out there and photograph the car headlights.
00:13:49:07 - 00:14:03:18
Unknown
So what are you going to need from that? A camera, definitely, because you want to be able to photograph or control the shutter speed with the cars because you want the car to be frozen, you're only going to be focusing on the headlights. You know, the cars can go quite fast, so you don't want it blurry, you want to be frozen.
00:14:03:18 - 00:14:18:14
Unknown
And of course, the main subject is absolutely the light coming through the fog. But I think if you keep the car in, it will just help with the overall feel of the image. And now to be able to control it and not to have to worry about your ISO and so on, especially if it's going to be darker.
00:14:18:14 - 00:14:39:05
Unknown
I think tripod is a good idea to. Which brings me to probably the most important part of this. And that's to stay safe. So if you're going to be hanging on a side of the road in full and in dark, you may want to really be safe. So wear something reflective. Make sure that you stay far from the road, use little longer lens and have a lot of fun with it.
00:14:39:05 - 00:15:00:04
Unknown
So like I mentioned, foggy mornings are good. I prefer to do this one in the evening because it's just a different sort of atmosphere. It can work really well in a little quieter woodlands, or maybe where the traffic isn't super busy. Ultimately it can be captured anywhere. And yeah, I think that can be really, really nice little project to try.
00:15:00:07 - 00:15:22:14
Unknown
What do you think, Holly? Sounds interesting. Not worth losing your life over, but because your headlights, the headlights are on that, that's at least helpful. Yeah, for people knowing that you're there. Absolutely. No, that sounds like a great idea. I can envision exactly what you're talking about. Just like a thick, thick fog through the headlight headlight beams.
00:15:22:16 - 00:15:36:11
Unknown
That's it was. I wonder if atmosphere two point when it comes out. Well, well, if you have to add that to your image or not. Yeah. I mean I know how to do it in post-processing. It would be just nice to be able to capture it or try at least, you know, that is
00:15:36:11 - 00:15:47:20
Unknown
Anyway, okay, that was a fifth point on our list, which is a good time to take a quick break, listen to the at which secret level talk about my new upcoming Autumn bundle.
00:15:47:21 - 00:15:50:20
Unknown
But we will be back with you in a moment. Don't go anywhere.
00:15:50:22 - 00:16:26:21
Unknown

00:16:45:09 - 00:17:01:13
Unknown
And we are back. We are back to continue on our list of unusual autumn subjects. Now we've gone through five and it's time to look at the other five with Holly starting. Holly, what is your third one? Well, still talking about leaves.
00:17:01:13 - 00:17:31:06
Unknown
Everyone take an umbrella. So this would really be a portrait. Have get an umbrella. Whether it's a clear umbrella or decorative, pour a whole bunch of leaves into it. Of course it has to be upside down in order for that to take place. Then get your your shot ready as the person is flipping the umbrella up and all the leaves are falling down on them, you know, do like a burst being burst mode for that and just shoot away and watch the leaves just falling out of the umbrella.
00:17:31:10 - 00:17:47:20
Unknown
And then you could just do it over and over again until you make sure you get the right shot. So the shutter speed is a key here right. I guess. Well you could right. You could either do fast shutter speed to freeze it or maybe you'd want a little bit slower to show the motion blur of the leaves falling down.
00:17:47:20 - 00:18:05:09
Unknown
So it's just something. Yeah. Experiment with that a little bit. That's a great idea I saw that to say that. Yeah. Yeah I've seen it before as well. This. I remember once we tried you see these pictures all the time when people just sort of throw the leaves in the air and you know, they just have them in their hand and they throw them in front of them.
00:18:05:09 - 00:18:32:17
Unknown
And honestly, it's not as simple as you think because of one reason. So they throw them. But you sort of just get a little bit of a leaf in front of them. So it never really covers the frame that beautifully. So it takes several tries. So that's why you quite rightly mentioned that it's something that you're probably going to try several times, and sometimes it's a question of just getting it right in once, or it's a question of maybe blending few together after, you know, when you really want to fill the frame.
00:18:32:17 - 00:18:52:20
Unknown
So that's a great idea. Are you going to try it. Do you have a umbrella. I don't have anyone to take a picture of. Maybe that I could, I can't. Yeah. They can't get the cow down the street to cooperate. Yeah. All right, all right. What's your next one. Great idea. Well my fourth one is there's lots of leaves today, right?
00:18:52:21 - 00:19:20:03
Unknown
I mean, so I will join your leaf motion here with final single leaf story. And basically, we all photograph this big foliage full of autumn leaves and trees, all covered with the beautiful colors. And this is all great, and it's very nostalgic and it's very popular, and I think it can look beautiful. But what about if you turn it completely around, wait a little bit longer, and then you focus on composition where there is only the one single leaf.
00:19:20:04 - 00:19:45:20
Unknown
So I'm thinking maybe it's just a branch which is completely empty and you have a one leaf, or maybe you even like it to actually really get a tree with one single leaf. Or you can cheat a little bit of glue or a solid tape, but that really works super well because as we mentioned many times on this show, it's the contrast that creates, that creates interest from people and it's very visually pleasing.
00:19:45:20 - 00:20:04:23
Unknown
So imagine you have this bear tree which is just black, dark, and then you have that one single leaf on it. I think that would be really cool. And if you combine it with maybe a nice little either soft daylight or warm morning or evening light, honestly, it can create magic. So that would be my fourth suggestion very quickly.
00:20:05:00 - 00:20:21:09
Unknown
Yeah, it's just a little bit of a lark and sort of knowing your surroundings. This is not necessarily something you're going to be traveling two hours for. You just find yourself a local park or aria where there are trees and just go for regular walks. And you know, once the time comes, you will know you don't necessarily need any special gear for it.
00:20:21:09 - 00:20:37:00
Unknown
Again, this is the one where you can probably photograph with a mobile phone quite easily. And yeah, play with it. You may have to wait a little longer as the autumn really only starts here. I don't know how is it in states, but in our place, colors are really just starting to the point when you would go photograph them.
00:20:37:00 - 00:21:02:04
Unknown
I mean, September is Ottoman, but it just has haven't been all that yet. Yeah, a little bit of patience and it can end up being really beautiful. I like that idea. And in fact I have a picture like that from a few years back. Looking at my bedroom window I saw one leaf on the tree. So I got my camera and I took a picture and I made some fun comment like hanging out, you know hanging on for dear life or I refuse to let go or something.
00:21:02:06 - 00:21:24:23
Unknown
You know, you could put a fun caption with it. So I loved it. That is so much you. Yeah. All right. Holly. All right. Number four for you. My fourth one. It's kind of along the lines of what you just mentioned, but it's things that leaves get stuck to. So the other day, there was a giant leaf on my windshield in my car.
00:21:25:05 - 00:21:44:04
Unknown
And then there was a leaf just on the like a chair on the deck. So looking around for just like things that leaves get stuck to, maybe it gets stuck to the side of your house or stuck to the roof. So anywhere you just. Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. That is a super cool idea. That could almost be a book right.
00:21:44:05 - 00:22:00:06
Unknown
You could make like a book that's like a project I could, could spend all old time just photographing that. And I think it could be really beautiful. Sometimes when you walk on a tree street and there is this sort of water coming into, you know, on a street, this sort of opening where the water goes out, you just see that one single leaf struggling there.
00:22:00:07 - 00:22:21:13
Unknown
It is also really beautiful. Yeah. Well done. Brilliant idea. Okay, okay. So moving to my fifth and last. Again inspired by home because since I already started the story where my grandma lives, there is lots of orchards and autumn, especially in late September, beginning of October is heavily about apples, prunes, pears, you know, all these sorts of fruit.
00:22:21:13 - 00:22:45:20
Unknown
And obviously when the September starts, they are all colorful and on the trees the time goes, you know, some of them start to fall. And when the time moves even a little bit further, when you walk around, you get this smell combination of wet ground, which is really nice, and also this sort of rotting fruit, but in a sweet way, you know, not like a nasty smell, you know, like a nice smell, you know, like a almost like an apple compote or pear compote.
00:22:45:23 - 00:23:11:08
Unknown
So this is what comes to my mind when I think about this subject, which is fallen fruit and berries. So once the autumn get out moves on a little bit, which is great because it's already end of September, you can really go into these old charts or single trees and look for things like apples, pears, berries, chestnuts, corns and you can photograph them right away when they fall, or you can photograph them when they start to sort of push.
00:23:11:09 - 00:23:28:20
Unknown
You can photograph one single one, or you can photograph group and you can use it more as a foreground. And maybe you have the landscape as a big ground. There's many different ways you can also go l in the morning and look for any of these fruits or berries with maybe two on it, you know, little droplets of water or frozen.
00:23:28:21 - 00:23:48:11
Unknown
So really it's just a great subject. I know. Obviously chestnuts, an acorn are quite traditional for autumn, but I thought the fruit could be a nice additional touch to it. And again, something very creative. Well, maybe not everybody has a orchard next to them. Everybody probably know about at least one fruit tree nearby that could create this idea.
00:23:48:13 - 00:24:10:13

Yeah. What do you think? I think that's a great idea. And yeah, all the little berries are sprouting out in the fall, so as long as it doesn't smell disgusting and doesn't doesn't smell like hot cocoa, does it? No. Unfortunately. Darn. But but it smells like childhood, so that's not necessarily a bad thing. Do you have a fruity with three around you there?
00:24:10:13 - 00:24:33:08
Unknown
Is there? Well, it's funny you say this because there wasn't. We have an apple tree and a few weeks back there was just one apple, one lonely little apple. And I did with my cell phone. Just took a picture of that with our house in the background. So we we do have them. The deer seem to eat a lot of all the whatever fruit there is from various trees, and the neighbors have apple trees too.
00:24:33:09 - 00:24:50:07
Unknown
That's cool. And then there's just some red berries. I don't know what kind of trees they are, but there's not the holly trees. I know what the holly trees are. Of course, those will get the red berries on them, but there's other trees that have red berries starting to form all the dead. So you can. Yeah. You can try this.
00:24:50:09 - 00:25:12:05
Unknown
Cool. All right. Holly you're fifth I'm so my fifth and final. This is a little bit longer but I'll try to talk faster. So we're moving on from leaves I'm going to trees and logs. So okay. Because you know my sense of humor. Take a picture of a bump on a log because that's an expression here. Do they have that expression in the UK.
00:25:12:07 - 00:25:32:09
Unknown
Don't. Never heard but really okay. They say don't be a bump on a log. That's like kind of being like a person who's really just kind of lame. So look for bump, look for bumps on logs. And that could even be like part of the happy hump day pictures because they're little humps. All right. Have a person stands behind a giant tree hugging the tree.
00:25:32:13 - 00:25:55:09
Unknown
Now, you've heard of the term tree hugger. Have you heard? Okay. So the person would have their arms wrapped around the tree. You don't see them. Their face is behind the tree. And then you have them like hugging the tree but holding the like a colorful leaf. So the picture is really just the tree and you see hands and the leaf.
00:25:55:10 - 00:26:19:11
Unknown
I saw that on Pinterest. It was really cute when I saw it. Oh okay. Okay. A little different and then okay then the third one, you might see a lot of logs or giant trees that have fallen down or been cut down. I feel like that's a nice way. If you put a subject at the ends of the log and then just do a leading lined kind of picture of them, just like, you know, sitting at sitting at the end of the log.
00:26:19:15 - 00:26:50:10
Unknown
Just do a fun portrait like that or your or your pet, whatever. Have your pet balancing on the log. So that's that's that. And then of course I think we have some honorable mentions. Yes. But of course Holly as usual has many. I only have one. So let's get mine that get mine out of the way. Talking about creativity, I'm a big fan of reflection, as everybody know, but generally I follow the traditional route where you have like a 50% of the picture is the landscape and 50% is the reflection.
00:26:50:10 - 00:27:08:06
Unknown
I'm looking for perfect symmetry, but for this one, I would actually turn it around and photograph reflection without the landscape. And not only that, then I would, in post-processing, turn it around and to really sort of poke the human eye senses because they're going to be looking at it and they will not really know what they're looking at.
00:27:08:07 - 00:27:30:15
Unknown
They maybe misunderstand initially the photo, which can really create interest, and it can just keep the person looking at it for a little bit longer, which is definitely a good thing. So I'm thinking, you know, anything from your puddles, lakes, canals, slow moving water, anywhere that is a reflection. So rather than trying to include the reflection as well as the rest, just focus on the reflection, capture it beautifully and then have a play with it.
00:27:30:15 - 00:27:54:05
Unknown
So not necessarily science fiction or groundbreaking idea, it's just little alternation on the traditional reflection composition. But Holly, it's your turn the last. What else you have? I have a feeling you're going to make a video about that reflection. All right. Yeah. All right. My honorable mentions shoot a needle in a haystack. Okay. That's another expression here in the United.
00:27:54:06 - 00:28:15:21
Unknown
You have full of expression. Student laid down in a corn maze and shoot up. Okay. Do you have corn mazes in the UK? Yes, yes of course. Yes. I've only gone through one once and I couldn't find my way out. I was petrified and I broke through to get out. Yes. So I won't be trying this one. But other people might like to do it.
00:28:15:22 - 00:28:34:17
Unknown
All right. Okay. Sort of along the lines of one thing. You mentioned the get a leaf blower, have some, get a pile of leaf. Somebody can use a leaf blower to make all the leaves fly through the air. Good idea. Why not? Picture of dying flowers. That's kind of, you know, your fruit stuff. Decomposing things that are decomposing can still look beautiful.
00:28:34:19 - 00:28:56:04
Unknown
Absolutely. And then the last one. Now people are putting out scary Halloween decorations. Either put your do a selfie or put another person in with like any scary characters, especially if there's one with an ax or something. You know, just do something funny. Make them make them part of the scene. Take them part of the scary scene. So sounds good.
00:28:56:05 - 00:29:14:01
Unknown
Those are my extras. Wow. Okay, great. Great to say that about Halloween. By the way. We do have a plan to have a Halloween episode as well coming before the Halloween comes at the end of October, so look out for that anyway. Holly. Wow. Cool. I thought that was some great ideas. Now, are you gonna try one of them?
00:29:14:01 - 00:29:33:10
Unknown
Have you thought about it? I think I'd like to try this one with the heart. That's a great shooting. Yeah, shooting something through that. So you just stole my idea? I was going to say the same. Well, we could both do the same. There's no reason we can't. And this one is neither as well. For some reason. Or maybe just from just a magnolia leaf.
00:29:33:11 - 00:29:54:08
Unknown
So it's kind of stiff. It's beautiful though. Whereas like, I mean. But look how colorful this one is. Yeah. It's gorgeous I love them. Yeah. I don't know my trees. Like, I don't know I don't really know what this, this is, but, even just like, you know, macro shots of these are getting close ups of the veins of the leaves.
00:29:54:09 - 00:30:14:06
Unknown
Beautiful. Yeah, yeah. And, and I think we talk about lots of that last year as well about lots of these ideas, like leaves on just a white sheet of paper with sort of control. Light can be beautiful. But let's not get distracted because this is it for today. Holly, thank you very much. My ideas and for all the bonus ideas.
