Schedule
Day 1 – Saturday, 3rd July
Arrival in Marseille • Meet & Greet • Welcome Dinner
Welcome to the South of France! From 12pm, our friendly guides will be waiting to meet you at Marseille Airport before transferring you to the hotel in the Camargue, where you will have time to check in and settle in.Â
In the early evening, we head to the medieval town of Aigues Mortes for a relaxed group dinner and a short creative photography presentation.
We finish the day with a blue hour photowalk through the historic streets, capturing the atmosphere, lights, textures and reflections of this beautiful town.
Day 2 – Sunday, 4th July
Flamingos • Photography Training • White Horses
We begin the day with a morning session at an ornithological park, photographing the Camargue’s elegant flamingos in beautiful soft light. It is a wonderful opportunity to work with reflections, movement, colour and creative wildlife compositions.
After breakfast, we spend some time learning together, with practical guidance on camera settings, composition, light, storytelling and techniques for photographing fast-moving subjects.
In the early evening, we will enjoy dinner together before heading out for one of the highlights of the workshop: photographing the iconic white horses of the Camargue. As the light softens, we capture these magnificent animals moving through the water, with flying manes, reflections and plenty of action.
Day 3 – Monday, 5th July
Black Bulls • White Horses
We begin the day early with one of the most atmospheric sessions of the workshop, photographing the iconic black bulls of the Camargue in the soft morning light. The focus is on capturing their strength, movement and character against the wild landscape of the region.
After breakfast and some time to rest, we move into a creative editing class. We explore mood, colour, contrast and storytelling, with practical guidance to help you turn your strongest captures into finished images with more impact.
In the early evening, we head out again for another spectacular white horse photography session, capturing movement, reflections, flying manes and the energy of these beautiful animals in action.
Day 4 – Tuesday, 6th July
Farewell Morning • Departure to Marseille
After breakfast, there will be time to pack, relax and enjoy one final morning in the Camargue.
We then travel together back to Marseille Airport for departure, bringing four unforgettable days of photography, wildlife, creativity and adventure to a close.
We say goodbye with memory cards full of unique images, new connections and wonderful memories of the Camargue.

What Gear Should I Bring to My Horses & Bulls of Camargue Workshop?
Prepare to capture the raw beauty and energy of the Camargue. For this workshop, we recommend packing light but smart: a 24–70mm lens for wider scenes, portraits, and atmosphere, plus a 70–200mm or 100–300mm lens for action, movement, and more distant subjects. Most of the horse and bull sessions will be photographed handheld, so make sure your gear is comfortable to carry and quick to use. Bring extra batteries and plenty of memory cards. With white horses, black bulls, water, dust, and golden light, you’ll want to be ready for every frame.
