How to Get Fujifilm Camera Profiles in Luminar NEO (+ FREE Camera Profiles & LUTs)
Sep 24, 2024As a Fujifilm camera user, you might wonder how to leverage the unique camera profiles within Luminar NEO. In this blog, I'll guide you through the steps to import these profiles and even show you a bonus method for enhanced control over their application.
Why Fujifilm Camera Profiles Matter
Fujifilm's in-camera profiles like Velvia, Classic Chrome, and Provia are well-known for producing stunning, film-like results. But getting these profiles into photo editing software like Luminar NEO hasn’t always been easy—until now! Thanks to my extensive research, you can now import seven traditional Fujifilm camera profiles into Luminar NEO and apply them effortlessly.
Step 1: Download the Fujifilm Camera Profiles
To begin, you'll need the Fujifilm camera profiles and LUTs. These are available through this link (click here), where you can download the folder containing all necessary files. Once downloaded, unzip the folder to reveal two subfolders—one containing Fujifilm camera profiles and another containing Fujifilm LUTs.
Step 2: Install Fujifilm Camera Profiles into Luminar NEO
After downloading the profiles, follow these steps:
- Open Luminar NEO and load a RAW image file shot with a Fujifilm camera.
- Navigate to the Edit module and open the Develop RAW tool.
- In the Camera Profile section, click the gray drop-down box and select Add Custom DCP.
- Browse to the folder with the downloaded Fujifilm profiles and select all seven.
- Click Add, and the profiles will be imported. Now, when you hover over each profile, you can preview its effect on your image.
You can use these profiles with any Fujifilm camera, and once installed, they remain available for future edits.
Step 3: Adjusting Your Images
Once you've applied a Fujifilm camera profile, you can fine-tune your image using Luminar’s editing tools. From tweaking exposure and color balance to sharpening and noise reduction, Luminar NEO offers full control over the final look.
Step 4: Advanced Technique – Applying LUTs for Greater Control
For even more creative possibilities, you can use Fujifilm LUTs (Lookup Tables) to apply similar effects to your images with adjustable strength. This is especially useful if none of the camera profiles suit your image perfectly or if you're editing JPEG files.
To use the LUTs:
- Open your image in the Edit module.
- In the Develop tool, select Adobe Standard (if available) in the Camera Profile drop-down menu (LUTs work best with this specific profile). If the Adobe Standard profile is not available, then skip this step.
- If you're using a RAW file, then in the Optics section of the Develop tool, select Auto Distortion Corrections, Auto Fix Chromatic Aberrations and Auto Defringe.
- Navigate to the Mood tool and click Add Custom LUT File.
- Select the Fujifilm LUTs from the second folder you downloaded earlier.
- Once added, you can preview each LUT and adjust its intensity using the Amount slider.
This method gives you the flexibility to apply Fujifilm color profiles with fine-tuned precision, adding contrast, saturation, and other adjustments to suit your creative vision.

Using Fujifilm camera profiles and LUTs in Luminar NEO allows you to replicate the look of classic Fujifilm films, bringing an analog feel to your digital images. If you're a Fujifilm photographer looking to enhance your editing workflow, I highly recommend giving this technique a try.
