What is the Color Tool
The Color Tool in Aperty is an essential asset for photographers seeking to achieve precise color accuracy and vibrancy in their portraits. Designed with advanced editing capabilities, this tool allows you to meticulously adjust hues, saturation, and luminance, ensuring that skin tones appear natural while enhancing the overall visual impact of your images.
Introducing Color Controllers
Vibrance Slider
Unlike saturation, vibrance selectively boosts the intensity of less saturated colours. This feature is ideal for portraits, as it prevents the risk of oversaturating already vivid skin tones and backgrounds.
Vibrance Slider
This slider allows you to adjust the overall intensity of all colours in your portrait, helping to create a more impactful image.
Remove Color Cast Slider
This slider is crucial for eliminating unwanted colour tints caused by different lighting conditions. Whether it’s a greenish hue from fluorescent lights or a warm cast from indoor lighting, the Remove Color Cast slider helps to neutralize these effects, ensuring that skin tones and other colours in your portrait appear natural and true to life.
HSL - Hue Sliders
This control lets you shift the colours in your image to fine-tune their appearance. For instance, you can adjust skin tones or background colours to create a more harmonious look.
HSL - Saturation Sliders
Increase or decrease the intensity of specific colours to bring life to your portraits or tone them down for a more subtle effect.
HSL - Luminance Sliders
Adjust the brightness of individual colours. This is particularly useful for enhancing the luminosity of skin tones while keeping other colours balanced in the image.
