What is the Details Tool

The Details tool in Aperty is designed to enhance the sharpness and clarity of your portrait images by adjusting fine details at various scales—small, medium, and large. This powerful feature allows you to selectively increase the sharpness of textures and facial features without compromising the overall softness of the portrait.

Introducing Details sliders

Small Details

Perfect for enhancing fine textures like skin pores, eyelashes, and other delicate facial features, ensuring a more lifelike appearance.

Medium Details

Targets mid-sized textures, such as hair strands and clothing fabric, adding depth and definition to your subjects.

Large Details

Adjusts broader areas of contrast, making larger features like the face's structure or the body's contours stand out.

Details Protection

Use this slider to ensure that areas of the image aren’t over-processed.

Preserve Textures

This slider detects texture patterns in the image and preserves them to maintain a natural look.

Getting started with Details Tool

Select the project in the Project Manager and double-click to open it in the Editing module.
Choose the image in the Film Strip at the bottom of the application.
Navigate to the Main Editing Toolbar and click the icon with three sliders to access the Essentials section.
Open the Details tool by clicking on its name or the triangle next to it.
Adjust the Small, Medium, and Large Details sliders to achieve the desired level of detail.
Fine-tune your adjustments with the Details Protection and Preserve Textures sliders for the perfect look.
At any point, click the Eye icon to view the before and after results.
