The Enhance AI tool is your first stop when editing in Luminar NEO. You can get a solid baseline for your photo with a single tool that adjusts exposure, shadows, highlights, black point, white point, and contrast.

What is Enhance AI

The Enhance AI tool contains two helpful adjustments that use the power of Artificial Intelligence to enhance your photos. This tool automatically analyses your image and instantly corrects it while still offering control over the final amount of correction.

Introducing Enhance AI sliders

Accent AI

Accent AI uses more than twelve controls. This tool creates beautiful results with a simple slider. The AccentAI tool can substitute for many traditional controls, including shadows, highlights, contrast, tone, saturation, exposure, and details.

Sky Enhancer AI

Luminar NEO detects and analyses the sky in an image to improve the sky's texture, tone, and colours. The Sky Enhancer AI tool can recognise the sky in most photos and distinguish between water and other elements. In addition, it detects objects in the foreground for perfect masking.

Sky EnhancerAI performs the necessary improvements to recover details and improve the texture of the sky and clouds, selectively adjusting brightness, contrast, saturation, and vividness.

It is designed to work with most photographs of skies and works from the blue hour in the morning to the blue hour in the evening. However, it is not designed to work with night skies.

TIP: If the Sky Enhancer AI tool is greyed, Artificial Intelligence cannot recognise the sky in your photo. Skies that are out of focus or blurred may not be detected.

Getting started with Enhance AI

When it comes to Enhance AI and its sliders, they are traditionally used at different times. The Accent AI is often used at the beginning of the editing right after the adjustments in Develop tool. The Sky Enhancer AI is used later on during the editing, specifically if you replace the sky using the Sky AI tool.

Enhance AI:

Open the image in Luminar NEO by using the Add Photos button in the Catalog module (L)
Move to Edit module (E)
Then, navigate to Enhance AI tool in the Essentials section of the editing toolbar (right side)
Open the tool by clicking on the down-arrow at the end of the tool
Move the Accent AI or Sky Enhancer AI slider towards the right until the desired effect is applied to your image
